It's been too long

Well, it has been ages since I last updated. I have been a very bad girl, so bad in fact, that the only excuse I have is just plain laziness! Time seems to rush past me these days.

Anyway, I guess an update would be a good place to start...

Wiggles was exactly 11 months old yesterday!! In just one month my tiny baby is going to be a year old!! I have no idea how a year could go by so very quickly. Needless to say, we are starting to think about a party etc for him. I am glad to say we have chosen a theme already, so at least I have a target area to work in, in terms of ideas. Now the real planning begins. We have also been throwing around ideas for a gift for him. We were thinking of a puppy, as he is crazy about animals, but have decided to wait, possibly, until next birthday. He is still just a little too young to fully appreciate it right now.

I have decided to take on an order for bridesmaids dresses, for a friend of a friend. I have not been at my machine since Wiggles was born, and even then it was nothing as "fancy" as this. But, I feel like making something nice for a change, so here goes. While I have my machines all set up I have heaps of other work I plan to do too... nothing huge, but I have a few things I want to make for Wiggles and possibly for Angotull too. I also plan to make the curtains for Wiggles' bedroom.

On Saturday Angotull took us to Gold Reef City for the day. It was stunning. We hadn't been there in such a long time, so we were pleasantly surprised to see what it looks like these days. Even though none of us went on any of the rides, we all had a great time. Wiggles loved watching all the people. We paid their little zoo/farm a visit, and he loved the animals. He was particularly taken with a Macaw who said "hello" a lot. Wiggles kept reaching for the bird, and motioning it to come to him. In the stables he was a little weary of the horses, and when one made a motion to nibble my arm (I was holding Wiggles in the other arm), he got quite a fright. He let out a little scream and buried his face in my neck. I think it is safe to say that horses are not at the top of the list of his favourite "eh!"s. (any animal is refered to as "Eh!")

Angotull spent the day out in the garden yesterday, and it is looking really nice now. He made some great headway into getting it like we want it. I have never been the gardening kind, but I do like looking at ours, especially when all the work is done. :D
